Shanghai Disneyland is Disney’s first-ever theme park in Mainland China, divided into six fun-filled sections. Start your journey at Mickey Avenue with an array of Disney-themed shops and restaurants. Marvel at the picturesque Enchanted Storybook Castle, then explore the Gardens of Imagination with its Fantasia Carousel and Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride.
Want to see where the princesses reside? Head to Fantasyland, where Peter Pan’s Flight will take you high above London to Neverland and you can play in the interactive Alice in Wonderland Maze. Afterwards, make a splash at Shipwreck Shore or battle pirates at Pirates of Caribbean - Battle for the Sunken Treasure.
Visit Tomorrowland to experience one of the park’s coolest rides, Tron Lightcycle Power Run, or see if you can spot Darth Vadar roaming the area with his Stormtroopers. Catch the live “Tarzan: Call of the Jungle” show at Adventure Isle, which is also where to find the thrilling Roaring Rapids.
Getting there
Shanghai Disneyland is located in Shanghai’s Pudong district. It’s easily accessed via the Metro with its own stop at the end of Line 11, while local buses also stop at the park. It’s also about 17 kilometres from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
