The Phoenix Convention Center is in the heart of downtown Phoenix and is known for hosting national and regional conventions and trade shows. Dating back to 1972, the venue has had a multi-million-dollar expansion that has tripled its original size and made it one of the top convention venues in North America.
The convention centre also hosts public events, such as bridal, home and auto shows. Past events have included presidential debates, the Phoenix Comicon and Arizona International Auto Show.
Meander through the nine-hectare venue and admire a design aimed to reference the unique Arizona landscape, including a large glass and stone atrium representing the light found in an Arizona slot canyon. Marvel at the combination of colours, textures and finishes that highlight the different hues of the Sonoran Desert and desert sky. You can easily combine a trip to nearby attractions, including the Arizona Science Center and Talking Stick Resort Arena.
