Surrounded by virgin rainforest, Pedu Lake is a hidden sanctuary in the heart of the Padang Terap District. The emerald-green lake boasts a footprint of more than 75 square kilometres and is a sanctuary for local flora and fauna.
Eco-friendly resorts dot the shoreline and immerse visitors in the natural beauty of Pedu Lake. Relax under the shade of a coconut palm and cool off in the clean, crystal clear water. If you’re feeling adventurous, launch a kayak and enjoy a scenic paddle around the lake.
Trails wind through the rainforest and showcase the lush ecosystem. Many trails feature special hideouts where you can spot rare birds and other wildlife. Guided treks take you deep into the rainforest, where you can spot wild elephants, leopards and rare albino snakes.
Perched on the banks of Pedu Lake, Mutiara Pedu Lake Golf & Lake Resort features a beautifully maintained 18-hole course. After a round of golf, enjoy a meal at the atmospheric restaurant.
