Melitopol is nicknamed the “City of Honey” and is famous for its high-quality product. Across the city, you’ll see gift shops selling honey collected from local apiaries. Melitopol is compact and easy to get around on foot or using local buses while taxis are a fast and affordable way to get from A to B. The city is located in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a 4.5-hour drive from Kryvyi Rih and Mykolaiv. Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv is a nine-hour drive away.
