Things to do in Lat Krabang
Reptile lovers shouldn’t miss a visit to the Siam Serpentarium, which is home to more than 70 different species of snakes from around the globe. Experience what it’s like to be a snake in the interactive forest of the Snake Museum and come face-to-face with an anaconda or golden cobra. In addition to live shows, the Siam Serpentarium also features a Snake Maze Playground.
Lat Krabang is home to several traditional Buddhist temples open to visitors, including the ornate Wat Lat Krabang. After admiring its colourful pagodas and gilded halls, follow the canal-side trail that leads to nearby Wat Sangkha Racha, which houses a large seated Buddha statue.
For a retail fix, head to The Paseo Mall, which is home to not only fashion and homewares stores but also supermarkets, pharmacies and banks. You can catch the latest flicks at the Major Robinson cinema complex and relax with a coffee at the Hidden Holme Cafe or grab a bite to eat at one of the street food stalls clustered in the mall’s open-air square.
