The Burriana town centre will charm you with its sunny plazas and centuries-old buildings. Church of El Salvador dates back to the 13th century and features elements of Gothic and Romanesque design. Torre Del Mar was built to defend the Valencia coast and rises 14 metres high.
Swim, tan and enjoy the sunshine on Platja l'Arenal. The gold-sand beach is studded with palm trees and offers sunlounger and umbrella rentals. Cafes and restaurants dot the beach and serve ice-cold drinks. Head up the coast to Malvarosa Beach for a quieter scene.
Spend the day sightseeing in Castellón de la Plana. Concatedral de Santa Maria towers over the city and features a Gothic façade and octagon-shaped belltower.
