Bourton-on-the-Water is a fairy-tale village set in the heart of the Cotswolds. The River Windrush flows through the village, meandering through the countryside for more than 50 kilometres before flowing into the Thames. Five stone bridges stretch across the river, the oldest dating back to the 1600s. All were built from locally quarried stone and have earned the village its “Venice of the Cotswolds” nickname.

The adorable Model Village is a perfect replica of Bourton-on-the-Water - even the houses are built from local Cotswold stone. Peer into the tiny buildings and admire the miniature chestnut, beech and cherry trees planted along the riverbank.

Bourton-on-the-Water is located in the Cotswolds, a 1.5-hour drive from Birmingham and two hours from London. Trains call at Moreton-in-Marsh Station, a 15-minute drive from Bourton-on-the-Water. Heathrow Airport is a 1.5-hour drive away.
