A popular waterfront arena and National Historic Landmark, Boardwalk Hall sits on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. It’s also one of Atlantic City’s premier sports and entertainment venues, regularly hosting popular music concerts, family-friendly events and ice hockey games.
Step inside the venue to get a glimpse of the largest musical instrument in the world, a pipe organ with more than 33,000 pipes and eight chambers. The smaller Adrian Phillips Theater inside the hall hosts concerts, theatre productions, gala events and boxing tournaments.
Stoll over to the hall in the evening to watch a free 3D sound and light show with surround sound and theatrical show lights. It uses video mapping technology that incorporates the building’s architecture into the show. The show takes place every 30 minutes, five days a week during the summer and early-autumn seasons.
Getting There
Boardwalk Hall occupies a prime spot in the centre of the boardwalk, bounded by the Georgia, Mississippi and Pacific avenues. There’s a parking garage at the end of Mississippi Avenue or you can reach the venue on foot, take the trolley or bus or use rideshare services.
