Embark on an ocean adventure at Aqua Planet, Jeju Island’s state-of-the-art aquarium showcasing 48,000 aquatic animals. Encounter marine life from the world’s five oceans and discover the diverse array of local sea creatures, including whale sharks and a magnificent group of 20,000 dancing sardines.
Aqua Planet offers several educational programs that give you the opportunity to learn about penguins, sea lions, and otters from a marine biologist. Witness the speed and grace of the resident sea lions as they show off their dancing skills or watch cheeky gentoo penguins rush from the water at feeding time.
As you explore the tunnels and water tanks, come face-to-face with sharks, manta rays, octopus and turtles or head to Kix Planet to join a daily marine class and get your hands wet in the Touch Pools. No trip to Aqua Planet is complete without seeing the synchronized swimming show and dolphin performance at the Ocean Arena.
