One of the premier malls in Johor Bahru, AEON Tebrau City is home to hundreds of shops, a large food court and a dedicated section for children. Modern and spacious, the mall is situated in Tebrau, a few kilometres north of Johor Bahru centre. It also features a large cinema, a hypermarket on the ground floor and various small boutiques on its upper floors. Built in 2006 it's home to both upmarket and budget stores, making it popular with a wide audience of locals and visitors.
Found in the centre of the mall, a children's theme park called Fanpekka is one of the attractions and features interactive activities for small children. Big brands are found on the lower two floors, where the shops are larger than those found further upstairs. The boutiques include vintage stores and inexpensive shops with windows that advertise sales and bargains. Opposite AEON Tebrau City there's a Tesco hypermarket which offers more shopping choice for visitors.
A shuttle bus connects the centre of Johor Bahru with AEON Tebrau City and uses the EDL highway, which bypasses much of the traffic congestion in the city. The bus drops passengers at the car park and main entrance to the mall. When exiting, the terminal for the shuttle bus is located under the highway's flyover.
This mall is very popular with visitors from nearby Singapore and is renowned for its selection of imported goods. Formerly known as Jusco, it has a food court with restaurants serving meals inspired by different corners of the globe.
