Weissensee is a picturesque resort set on a glacier lake. The Gailtal Alps soar over the lake and create a dramatic backdrop. Limestone deposits from the mountains give the water a dreamy turquoise hue. You can swim, sunbathe and hike in the summer months, while winter snowfall transforms Weissensee into a playground for ice skating and cross-country skiing.
