Founded in 1851, the University of Minnesota is a public research university in Minneapolis and has a 487-hectare campus. Organised into 19 colleges and schools, it has sister campuses in Falcon Heights, Crookston, Duluth, Morris and Rochester.

University of Minnesota is neighboured by Dinkytown in Minneapolis, just a 20-minute drive from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. It’s easy to get around campus via designated bike lanes, shuttle services and walking paths, while ample on-site parking is available.
