With crystal-clear water and a rich underwater ecosystem, Fiji is one of the world's top diving destinations. Tavarua Island is a great base for exploring the incredible dive sites that dot the Malolo Barrier Reef. You can’t go wrong diving at "The Supermarket”, home to tropical fish and sharks.
Tavarua Island serves up year-round fishing, with the chance to reel in mahi-mahi, yellowfin, walu, and wahoo. Most boats make a beeline for the waters around Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. Alternatively, take a day trip around the island for a day of fishing, swimming and snorkelling.
If you'd rather stay on dry land, you can enjoy a game of beach volleyball or soak up the sunshine along the sun-kissed coastline. Stroll around the secluded island, sign up for a traditional Kava ceremony and dine on local Fijian delicacies at sunset.
