Sun loungers and umbrellas dot Silivri Plaji, the city’s main beach. The water is clear and shallow, making the beach popular with local families. On weekends, the beach is packed with people playing games and enjoying the sunshine. Cafes dot the shoreline and serve strong Turkish coffee and sweet apple tea.
Silivri Marina is lined with brightly-painted apartments. It’s a great place to stroll and watch boats cruise in and out of the marina. Just steps from the marina is a monument dedicated to beloved Turkish statesman, Kemal Atatürk.
