Run by a Dutch-Egyptian couple in the well-established beach resort of Hurghada, the Scuba Hurghada Diving Center is a PADI certified operation that comes with 25 years of experience. Situated on the western edge of the Red Sea and just a short boat ride from the colourful corals, they offer visitors an opportunity to experience the spectacular marine life of the Fanadir Reef and the island paradise of Giftun.
Scuba Hurghada Diving Center offers daily scuba diving and snorkelling trips to explore this underwater wonderland onboard their 24-metre long yacht. It’s fully equipped with a salon, shower and toilets, a spacious sun deck and a shaded upper deck, as well as all safety requirements such as life jackets, first aid kits, and oxygen. Trips depart and include a delicious buffet lunch prepared by a chef and the opportunity to dive or snorkel at two different sites dependent on the local weather conditions. The daily yacht trips still make for a relaxing day out on the water for non-divers and snorkelers who can soak in the magnificent coastal scenery of the Red Sea.
Whether visitors are just taking their first steps as a diver in an Open Water course or qualifying to become a professional Divemaster, the certified instructors offer a high level of training with safety as a top priority. Their group sizes are always small, ensuring personalised attention at a pace that suits each individual, while children can start training from as young as 10 years old to become a PADI Junior Diver.
There are direct flights to Hurghada International Airport or it is around a seven-hour bus ride from Cairo, with both shared white minivans and private taxis available to whisk visitors around town. The Scuba Hurghada Diving Center is conveniently located in the centre of Hurghada, just a short walk from many of the major hotels, with pick-up services available from the surrounding resorts who can transport guests from El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh, and Makadi Bay to join their daily dive and snorkel trips.
The Scuba Hurghada Diving Center’s team of dive instructors and divemasters speak English, German, Dutch and Arabic, and strive to create exhilarating dives that are tailored to the experience level of each diver. They also run seasonal liveaboard safari trips to the northern or southern reefs of the Red Sea for those wanting to venture further afield for a more immersive dive experience.
