Located in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, San Vigilio di Marebbe is a charming ski resort at the base of Kronplatz mountain. It serves as a base for outdoor pursuits within the UNESCO-listed Parco Naturale di Fanes-Sennes-Braies and offers an enticing selection of restaurants and lively nightlife venues.
If you’re visiting in the summer months, stretch your legs on the Circuit of Sas de Pütia, which winds through Parco Naturale Puez Odle. You can refresh with a dip in the sparkling waters of Lago Verde or get your adrenaline pumping on Europe’s longest zip-line between Piz de Plaies and San Vigilio di Marebbe.
In the winter, you can take advantage of the challenging “black runs” at Plan de Corones or cross-country ski along the idyllic Passo delle Erbe. Autumn is a popular time for mountain biking and horse riding in this natural playground.
