One of the largest outlet shopping centres in Japan, the Rinku Premium Outlets are situated directly opposite Kansai International Airport. The super-sized mall is designed like the old American port town of Charleston, with more than 200 shops belonging to both local and big-name international brands.
Shop for the latest fashions at Banana Republic, Guess and Gap or pick up discounted shoes, bags and accessories at Armani, Hugo Boss and Ray-Ban. You can grab great bargains at the 100 Yen store or unique Japanese souvenirs at one of the local boutiques.
Want to kill some time while waiting for your connecting flight? The Rinku Premium Outlets is ideal for some retail therapy, with coin lockers where you can store your luggage while you shop. There’s a range of restaurants and family-friendly amenities, such as baby buggies and a nursing room.
Getting there
The Rinku Premium Outlets is around 45 minutes’ drive from the centre of Osaka or one hour by train. It’s just 15 minutes by train from Kansai-Airport Station to the Rinku-Town Station, where you’ll find the shopping mall’s entrance.
