Dominated by a 15-kilometre-long stretch of sand, Lido di Jesolo is a popular beach resort overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It’s been nicknamed the “Venetian Riviera” due to its proximity to Venice and is backed by the sprawling Venetian Lagoon.
Grab a sun lounger and umbrella for a day on the sands of Lido di Jesolo, which is divided into several private beaches. Each beach has its own showers and changing facilities and there are plenty of kiosks where you can grab drinks, snacks and ice creams throughout the day. If you’re travelling with kids, there are a handful of “clubs” with beachfront play equipment.
Children will also love Caribe Bay, a family-friendly water park with themed pools, waterslides and live entertainment. North is the Golf Club Jesolo where you’ll find an 18-hole course, a driving range and a putting green where you can practice your short-range golf skills.
Getting there
Lido di Jesolo is a 45-minute drive from Venice while Venice Marco Polo Airport is 30 minutes away. Buses are the main means of getting to Lido di Jesolo and three bus routes travel throughout the village.
