For spectacular views of Jamshedpur, head to the hilltop Bhuvaneshwari temple, which features an elaborate five-storey royal entrance and an eight-pillared Main Hall decorated with different forms of Lakshmi. Admire the ornate South Indian architectural style and traditionally dressed devotees who make offerings and recite mantras.
Make a day trip north to the Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, renowned for its population of Indian elephants seen roaming through the dry forests.
