Ilia is a picturesque village set between rolling hills and the turquoise Aegean Sea. Paved streets and piazzas lined with traditional Greek houses and colourful flowers bring a touch of Mediterranean charm to Ilia. Cafes and tavernas spill onto sidewalks and feature al fresco seating shaded by leafy trees.
Swim and sunbathe on Ilia Beach, an arc of white-pebble sand framed by shrub-covered hills. The water is calm, crystalline and perfect for swimming. Roll out your towel on the sand or rent a sun lounger and umbrella from a beachside café.
Spend the day in Loutra Edipsou, a nearby resort famous for mineral-rich thermal springs. The natural springs flow into the Aegean Sea and are renowned for their healing properties. Bathe in natural rock pools on the southern end of the beach or indulge in specialty treatments at local spas.
