Spanning 14 city blocks in the Central Business District, the Fort Worth Convention Center hosts thousands of visitors every year. Well-known for its modern conference facilities, it can accommodate corporate meetings, sporting events, concerts, trade shows and banquets. An enormous ballroom is open for special occasions, such as weddings.
Over the years the convention centre has been home for several basketball and ice hockey teams. It has also hosted notable sporting events, such as the National Championship games of the 2018 National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs.
Check the schedule for world-renowned musical artists who perform at the convention centre. Since its opening in 1968, it has hosted the likes of Elvis Presley, Paul McCartney, the Eagles and the Bee Gees. The South Korean group, BTS, also chose the venue for two 2018 concerts on their Love Yourself Tour.
Getting there
The Fort Worth Convention Center is in downtown Fort Worth at Sundance Square. The area is pedestrian-friendly, but plenty of buses, taxis and rideshares offer transportation. You can also use Molly the Trolley, a vintage trolley car that runs from downtown to the convention centre.
