Overlooking Larnaca Bay, Finikoudes Beach is the main strip of sand in the lively port city of Larnaca. It’s one of the most popular beaches in southern Cyprus and is backed by a palm-lined seaside promenade where you can stroll and soak up the sweeping views towards the Mediterranean Sea.
Relax on the family-friendly sands of Finikoudes Beach, which stretches around half a kilometre along the edge of downtown Larnaca. The calm waters are ideal for children to swim and splash around and it’s been designated as a Blue Flag status beach for meeting high environmental and quality standards.
You can grab a sun lounger and umbrella for the afternoon at one of the local rental outlets, which also provide gear for those who want to participate in a variety of water sports. Once you’ve built up an appetite, Finikoudes Beach is a short stroll from several cafes and restaurants, including the Kalamaki Bar and Hobos Cafe Restaurant.
Getting there
