Dahu Township is dotted with strawberry farms where you can pick your own berries. Dahu Township is set at the western edge of Shei-Pa National Park. Discover a wide range of ecosystems, including rugged mountain peaks, lush river valleys and dense cypress, hemlock and spruce forests. There’s a chance to spot rare and endangered species, including Taiwanese black bears, Formosan rock macaques and broad-tailed swallowtail butterflies.
At more than 3,880 meters above sea level, Xueshan is one of the highest mountains in Taiwan. The hike to the summit is a challenge and best completed with an experienced guide.
