Also known as Gare du Midi or Zuidstation, Brussels-South Railway Station is situated in the residential area of Saint-Gilles. It’s one of three major railway stations in Brussels and was constructed during the 1940s and 50s to serve the city’s growing transportation demands.
Check the monitors in the main hall of the Brussels-South Railway Station to find your destination, with trains departing to London, Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne. Belgian domestic trains also connect to Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp, with local services to Brussels Central and Brussels Nord.
There’s a mini-market where you can stock up on snacks and drinks for your journey, as well as a brasserie just outside the main exit if you want a sit-down meal.
