We arrived at 2pm for a 2pm checkin. There were people waiting for checkin, and they were all processed. Except for us. They could not find the house keeping manager to find out if our room was ready. We then waited over an hour (checking back continually) for our room. In the end, one of four receptionists, took 2 keys to go and check her self (why she just didnt do that in the first place i dont know, she wasnt busy). Then we were told the lifts were broken. Then we got into our room to find our fridge was broken, which was replaced. We found the well hidden private spas which were great as they were man made individual rock like chambers, however alot of the functions for the spas were broken. This would have been a wonderful hotel in its day. But it needs a HUGE facelift and maintenance was a real issue. Paying $260 a night, I did not find was fair value given what I have mentioned.
