Waikanae Beach is one of several beautiful stretches of sand on the Kapiti Coast. Waves crash onto the honey-coloured sand, which is strewn with shells and rocks. Getting around Waikanae
Waikanae is compact and easy to get around on foot. Waikanae Beach is a five-minute drive or one-hour walk from the Waikanae town centre. Wellington CBD is a 45-minute drive away and one hour by train. Wellington International Airport is a one-hour drive away.
