Its peaceful streets are dotted with laid-back cafes, churches and independent stores while it also offers easy access to the lavender fields of Proud Mountain and the rock formations of Teve-Szikla.
Sprawling west of Üröm is the Proud Mountain Lavender Meadow, a stunning field of purple flowers that opens to visitors during the summer months. You pick the lavender and soak up its alluring fragrance and take advantage of the seats, tractor and props for a photoshoot.
