Nestled in the heart of Old Toronto, Union Train Station is a historic commuter hub in the bustling “Corridor” area. It’s considered one of the finest examples of classical Beaux-Arts station architecture in Canada and has been listed as a Heritage Railway Station and a National Historic Site.
Admire the grand columned exterior of Union Train Station, which was completed in 1921, with the platforms, railway tracks and viaducts built during the following years. Step inside the Great Hall to find ticket counters and baggage services while experiencing the buzz of Canada’s busiest railway terminal.
Jump aboard a train to Ottawa, Montreal or Niagara Falls at one of the platforms or browse the retail shops in the pedestrian concourse. There are plenty of eateries where you can grab a last-minute snack, as well as newsagents for purchasing magazines and books for your journey.
