Things to do in Świeradów-Zdrój
No visit to Swieradow-Zdroj is complete without bathing in the mineral waters of the Spa House, which was constructed in 1899. It comprises two buildings connected by an 80-metre-long larch “walking hall” and surrounded by sun-drenched terraces. After your visit, you can explore the Spa Museum, which details the history of tourism in the town.
Magnificent views across Swieradow-Zdroj and the surrounding area can be enjoyed from the Sky Walk, which towers 62 metres above the ground. Its twisting walkways extend 850 metres before arriving at a drop-shaped net and a glass platform that gives the impression of floating high above the landscape below. Nearby is a small hut selling locally made sheep milk cheese.
A short drive south-east of Swieradow-Zdroj is the Kwisa Waterfall, a manmade cascade that tumbles along the Kwisa River. You can refresh with a dip in the small pool at its base or relax and soak up the natural scenery. Further along the Kwisa River is the Wodospad Poidło, another charming waterfall with a stone arch bridge.
