Perched atop a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora de Nazareth, which was built in 1820 on the site of an old chapel. Admire its whitewashed exterior and squat bell tower before experiencing its tranquil interior.
Saquarema is surrounded by beautiful beaches, many of which offer favourable surfing conditions.
