Explore the picturesque dams of the Elan Valley. Nestled in the Cambrian Mountains, the valley is a photographer’s delight. The Baroque-style Craig Goch is one of the most beautiful dams, featuring enormous proportions of the dramatic curved retaining wall and elegant stone arches. Pony trekking tours are a fun way to explore the mountains. The stargazing in the Elan Valley is astronomical. The area is an official International Dark Sky Park and treats you to incredible views of the Milky Way.
