Named after its distinctly-shaped roof, Nagoya Dome is a famous baseball stadium and home of the Chunichi Dragons. It has the capacity to seat 40,500 people and is one of the best places in Japan to experience the thrilling atmosphere of a live baseball match.
Admire the geodesic architecture of this pioneering stadium before stepping inside the Nagoya Dome to experience the buzz created by Japanese baseball fans. Entrance to games also includes access to the Dragons’ Museum where you can get up close to team memorabilia and learn more about Japan’s professional baseball league.
The Nagoya Dome also hosts regular music concerts and events, so check what’s happening during your visit. After attending an event at the dome, you can pick up souvenirs or get some retail therapy at the adjacent Aeon Mall, which is also home to restaurants and cafes.
Getting there
The Nagoya Dome is a short walk from the Nagoya Dome-mae Yada subway station, which is around 20 minutes by train from the centre of Nagoya. Chubu Centrair International Airport is around one hour by train from the stadium.
