Nestled between the Savio River and the Pineta di Cervia, Lido di Savio is a laid-back village on the coast of Ravenna. It’s an idyllic setting for swimming, sunbathing and leisurely walks and is on the doorstep of Italy’s largest amusement park.
Spend your days relaxing on Lido di Savio’s main beach, which is lapped by the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. If you’re feeling active, you can stretch your legs on the walking trails that lead through the Pineta di Cervia. Information panels dot the forest, detailing its protection in the wake of agricultural clearing.
Travelling with kids? Plan a day at Mirabilandia, a family-friendly amusement park with more than 40 rides and attractions. Brave the record-breaking roller coasters, raft down the lazy river or experience exhilarating live stunt shows. When it’s time to eat, you can feast at the Scrambler BBQ or the Paddock Cafe.
