One of the most visited casino destinations in Nevada, Laughlin is a lively recreational port along the Colorado River. It was named after Don Laughlin who opened the famous Riverside Resort here in the 1960s, which remains one of Laughlin’s most popular entertainment venues today.
Things to do in Laughlin
Stroll along the Laughlin River Walk, which is lined with casinos and resorts overlooking the Colorado River. It’s a great spot for watching the boats come and go as punters hop from one casino to the next, as well as catching a glimpse of local wildlife.

Auto enthusiasts should visit Don Laughlin's Classic Car Collection within the Riverside Resort, which brings together a range of antique, classic and special-interest automobiles. There’s a motorcycle once owned by Steve McQueen and historic carriages on display, as well as highly-valuable classic vehicles for sale.
A short drive south of Laughlin takes you to the Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area, a popular boating and fishing destination. Follow one of the many trails through its picturesque canyons or take in the views of the Colorado River from its picnic area.
Getting around Laughlin
Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport is the main gateway to the city and located just across the river in Arizona. Laughlin is a 90-minute drive south of Las Vegas and most sights in the city are within an easy walking distance of one another.
