In Panama, they say "La Bella, Enamoradora y Querendona, La Gran Chorrera”. In short, in La Chorrera you will find beautiful women, kind people and a lively nightlife. The tropical climate and fertile landscape certainly lend itself to living the good life, with some of the world’s best coffee grown in fields nearby.
Things to do in La Chorrera
La Chorrera takes its name from El Chorro, the most famous waterfall in El Valle. At 35 metres high and with a large, rocky swimming pool at its base, it’s a stunning location for a day trip. Hike through the rainforest, then take a dip in the waters to cool down. You can also take a zip line adventure over the falls, where the views are second to none.
San Francisco F.C. is one of Panama’s most successful teams, a nine-time winner of the national football league. La Chorrera is their hometown, so expect the entire city to be glued to their TV screens on match days and prepare for wild parties if they win. Football fans can visit the Estadio Agustín Sánchez stadium, where the atmosphere is buzzing with energy on game days.
If you are travelling with kids in tow, plan a trip to the Summit Trampoline Park. In addition to trampolining, you can wear them out with dodgeball and other high energy sports.
