Race down powder-dusted slopes and explore shimmering ice caves in Demanovska Dolina. The earliest mentions of the Demanovska Ice Cave date back to the 13th century. Walking into the subterranean cave, you’ll be amazed by enormous pillars of ice. Follow the walkway deeper into the cave to discover more icy caverns. Educational panels offer more information on the unique geology of the cave.

Demanovska Dolina is in the Žilina Region, a 3.5-hour drive from Bratislava and two hours from Košice. Local buses connect Demanovska Dolina with both major cities, or you can rent a car and explore the Žilina Region at your own pace.
