Together with the neighbouring town of Dwellingup, Collie is quickly emerging as one of the top mountain biking destinations in Australia. Explore more than 35 kilometres of MTB tracks on the Arklow Trail Network just north of Collie. Trails wind through pristine jarrah forests and offer plenty of thrills and spills.
Spend the day at Black Diamond, a former coal mine pit reimagined as a family-friendly swimming lake. Suspended limestone deposits in the water give the lake a dazzling blue colour. Claim a spot on the sandy shoreline, blow up an inflatable toy and enjoy the sunshine. Nearby Potters Gorge is a beautiful spot for a picnic, while Honeymoon Pool is ideal for canoeing.
