Located a stone’s throw from the border with Slovenia, Białka Tatrzańska is a popular ski resort in southern Poland. It lies on the edge of the High Tatras and comprises three different ski areas, Kotelnica, Kaniowka and Bania - making it the country’s largest snowsports destination.
In the winter months, you can take advantage of the beginner-friendly slopes of Bania or enjoy the well-groomed pistes of Kaniowka and Kotelnica. All three ski resorts are connected by modern lifts and there’s a single cross-country track for Nordic skiers to enjoy. Snowboarders are well catered for with a terrain park featuring pipes and rails.
A short drive south of Białka Tatrzańska is the Termy Bukovina, a modern spa and water park fed by rejuvenating thermal waters. In addition to 12 different pools heated to between 30 and 38 degrees Celsius, there are several steam baths, saunas and family-friendly water slides.
