Renowned for its water sports, international restaurants and pulsing nightlife, Baga Beach is a popular summer destination in Goa. It centres around a golden stretch of sand framed by Baga Creek, with palm trees and a forested headland lining the shores.
Get your adrenalin pumping while parasailing, wakeboarding or windsurfing with one of the local water sports operators or join a dolphin-spotting catamaran cruise to get up close to Goa’s marine life. There are plenty of rental sun loungers, as well as beach shacks serving snacks, beer and cocktails.
Coincide your visit with the Saturday night bazaar, when artisans from across the region flock to Baga Beach to sell their wares. There’s no shortage of restaurants, ranging from traditional Goan eateries to fine-dining establishments serving global cuisine.
