The Friday market in Almunecar evokes an aura of yesteryear with its colourful stalls selling handmade crafts, candy and nuts. You can also find authentic Spanish cheeses and traditional Spanish feria dresses.
Visit Almunecar’s Archaeological Museum, which is built into one of the city caves and houses Roman artefacts, such as old coins, urns and pottery. You’ll be standing above the Roman ruins and brick arches from original cave dwellings.
