Offering flights across the United States, Albany International Airport is the major aviation hub for the Capital Region. It was established in 1908 on a former polo field and is the oldest municipal airport in the country, although it’s been recently redeveloped into a modern facility for the 21st century.

Getting there
Albany International Airport is around 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Albany and is well serviced by public buses. Taxis are also available outside the terminal building and shuttle services connect it to major airports in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
