Location wise: This is situated in what is called the North of Lombok where it's almost 15mins to the harbor leading to Gili Trawangan, Meno & Air. However, if you have plans to visit the Southwest or the East Gili(s), where it's less commercialized, please bare in mind that it will take you approximately 1 - 3 hours to travel via road to get there, one way, depending on where you are heading. From what I've researched and seen, the North side seems to hold better options for clean & comfortable resorts and the South might have some too. However, on the East, there was nothing that pop-ed up on my search online. Overall, the stay here is wonderful, staffs are polite & helpful. Food at the cafeteria was amazing (at least whatever I had) as we ate 70% of our meals there since we were out snorkeling most of our stay and came back in the evening tired and dined in. The resort overlooks the beach but is only good for sun bathing or surfing as the waves are rather strong. The pool is good enough for a short swim. They have massages available at their spa & that looked serene although I didn't get a chance to get a massage during my stay but friends of mine who did didn't regret it. If you wish to eat at restaurants nearby, you'd need to take a taxi, which the resort can help arrange as personally I feel walking might be unsafe and depending on the restaurants, you might be between 5 - 15mins away from the restaurants. Just one thing, I just wished they had a pipe outside each resort to wash off sand from the beach and a place to hang wet suits. Other than that, it's an amazing place to stay at!
