Excellent location, rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a faded grandeur that is still apparent despite the lack of renovation in subtle details like the chandeliers even in the bathrooms. Value for money is not good in Rome especially around Christmas, and this hotel epitomises the problem. There was no espresso machine in the room, also no kettle. The most basic toiletries were absent like cotton buds. Shampoo was not replaced when finished. No shoe horn. No shoe polish. The TV was outdated and tiny. How can I rate a gold-plated trash can.
A carpet stains allover looks like urine stains and black stains on the floor bathroom not to mention bed was used for decades, air conditioning system we turn it off blowing dust we left the balcony door open at night we asked to change "unfortunately no other rooms to exchange at this moment" and at the checkout only thing front desk said " you owe us $20 daily city tax"

Size of the room was amazing! Very comfortable bed and slept like a baby after being jet lagged! Employees were lovely!
Little far from sites but beautiful area. Also would have liked to see breakfast included.
