Beautiful property. Great location. Lovely pool area.
Bathrooms were dated and tubs clogged.
Beautiful building and atmosphere. Garden plantings spectacular.
Breakfast was just okay. Pool has no umbrellas so hard to lie down in the shade unless you move chairs. I wish hotels like this moved to large soap, shampoo dispensers to reduce plastic waste.
Location
The buffet was to expensive, and the waitresses did not give you and alternative for breakfast.
Great location. Nice inner courtyards.
Extremely small rooms for price of $350. Dated bathroom. Had to move side table to plug in phone. Breakfast is a very overpriced buffet and starts late. Highly recommend Casa Hidalgo for delicious cooked to order breakfast…just a ten minute walk away. (We had stayed at this hotel earlier in trip) Had to wait 20 min each time to have car retrieved.
Pool and location
Not much space around the pool. Pricey
Beautiful hotel, great staff
Shower was cold
Great location, the grounds and pool were delightful in this nicely refurbished convent (18th C ? ) that provided a unique flavor to our stay. Staff were extremely helpful in meeting a room change request, and checkin was a breeze, including a "free" delicious drink was a nice touch. The pool and the surrounding gardens are a strong plus factor if you're looking for that experience. We appreciated...

Lovely old 16th century convent building; beautifully restored, lovely gardens, wonderful restaurant, excellent service, central location close to all key sights. A real oasis of peace and calm .
Bathrooms are not 5 star, more like 3 star. Serviceable , good shower, but badly in need of updating. We booked a superior double which was advertised as 27sq m with a sofa. I don’t think it was 27m2 and certainly no sofa, so nowhere comfortable to sit in the room. There are a few noisy bars nearbye , not a problem for us because we were far enough away , but might be an issue if you are in a room...Read more
This is a fantastic place in a fantastic location. The hotel is beautiful, the staff very pleasant and helpful. Knowing that you have a great landing spot after a day of visit makes your trip all the better. There are few swimming pools in central Oaxaca - this is a clear plus here.
The breakfast was a bit underwhelming when not buffet (Saturdays and Sundays only). Otherwise loved every bit of it!
