The hotel is an absolutely iconic place and just being that close to the Canyon is simply fantastic. Room, food service fits to the scenery. A place to remember for ever.
How lovely to hike all day, take a hot shower, then enjoy a delicious dirty martini before getting into a cozy bed. A special place full of history and worth a stay if you have a quick grand canyon trip.
Pros (+) Lobby very nice. . Obviously Location is great.
Cons (-) Room was tiny (standard queen room). Barely enough room for luggage. Bathroom redone and nice but no shelf or anywhere for toiletries. Internet was so very slow could barely open a website on browser. Restaurant Is so overpriced for what one gets. My porkshops were $25 and were so dry and over cooked I could not eat them. I understand supply and demand.. but for $263 dollars a night they could hav...
