White pebble beaches, gold limestone rock formations and dazzlingly clear water make Rabac one of the top resorts on the Istrian coast. The sun-drenched town is set on Kvarner Bay and has evolved from a small fishing port to a bustling beach resort over the past few decades.
A waterfront promenade stretches along the bay and treats you to spectacular views over the turquoise Adriatic Sea and the surrounding hillsides. Stroll into the town centre to dine at al fresco restaurants and browse independent boutiques.
When you’ve had your fix of sunshine and saltwater, venture inland to discover scenic hiking trails. Some paths wind along the coast and others take you into the lush Mediterranean forests. The hilltop town of Labin is a popular day trip and will charm you with its cobbled streets lined with medieval buildings. Many have been painted in bright colours and reimagined as atmospheric cafes and restaurants.
