Considered the nightlife hotspot of Phuket Island, Patong Beach is acclaimed for its vibrant nightclubs and abundance of restaurants, glitzy shopping malls and endless displays of gleaming neon lights. Patong is most famous for the nearly four kilometre stretch of coastline encompassing Bangla Road, where you can embrace the hustle and bustle of relentless entertainment.
You will find the beachfront activities, highlighted by plentiful scuba diving and snorkelling opportunities in its aquamarine waters filled with marine life. Sun baking and swimming are popular daytime activities, while food enthusiasts will rejoice at the variety of fresh seafood on offer. Have a drink at the poolside bar of the Red Chilli Restaurant or splurge on Thai cuisine at Lim’s Restaurant and Bar.
The region becomes alive at night, transformed into a festive party fed by Go-Go clubs, bars and nightclubs situated on every corner. The upbeat vibe might feel a bit chaotic at times, but there is enough variety that you’re sure to find someplace to suit your mood.
