La Plagne is a ski area set in the heart of the French Alps. It faces mighty Mont Blanc and combines a beautiful setting in the Tarentaise Valley with world-class facilities. Together with a handful of neighbouring resorts, La Plagne is part of the Paradiski Ski Area. Discover more than 400 kilometres of groomed runs, most at altitudes of more than 2,000 metres.
The après ski scene in La Plagne is just as famous as the slopes. Dine at rustic taverns serving Savoyard specialties like creamy “Fondue Savoyarde” blended with white wine and “La Tartiflette” potato casserole. Bars and pubs will lure you in with crackling log fireplaces and flickering candles.
Spring snowmelt transforms La Plagne into a hiker’s paradise. Trails wind through flower-strewn valleys and past shimmering glacial lakes. Stoll through 100-year-old alpine forests and challenge yourself on rugged summit trails. Hiking is a great chance to spot alpine wildlife like ibex, marmots and chamois mountain goats.
