Getting there
Kangaroo Island is best reached by first flying into Adelaide Airport or directly to Kingscote Airport from Melbourne. From Adelaide, you can fly to Kangaroo Island or catch one of the passenger ferries from Cape Jervis, about two hours from Adelaide.
