It was an alright hotel. The room was very small, but adequate for our needs, everything was pretty standard to what you would expect in any hotel. It is right in the French Quarter, so easy walking distance to anything you need. The staff was a mixed bag - some were very pleasant and other's were rather rude. We were not told that the ice machine was missing on our floor (it was just an empty closet with the hoses/wires sticking out of the wall) and when we called to inquire about where we should get ice from, they were pretty short with their response. Also, valet is required (and the additional $40 charge for valet/parking is added to your bill), however the staff did not know how to drive a manual, so I had to park myself. Nothing major, but a minor inconvenience. Overall, not impressed, but I would consider staying again if I needed to be in the French Quarter.
staff were great - friendly and helpful :-) beds were sooooo comfortable! Needs more food options - restaurant attached not very clean, but staff were friendly
This was a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for exploring the French quarter! Very secure and quiet. The staff could not have been nicer! What a perfect trip..Our first New Orleans experience! Our travel friends stayed right on Bourbon Street and didn't get and sleep because of noise.
This is our second time staying there for Bayou Classic. We love the location, great service and accommodations.
